"Just 15 miles outside of Columbia, Missouri, the Shryock Corn maze in Callaway County is quietly gaining statewide recognition as a popular tourist attraction. For 10 years, the family-owned farm has opened their corn maze to the public as another business outlet. The maze is most notably for its famous designs, ranging from holiday greetings to MU and Cardinal baseball recognition.

Nita Shryock is the wife of the owner of this maze and she has been devoting her time to their maze since it first opened in 2002.

People from all across the state love coming to the maze for something new, and something fun.

Inside the red barn is also an impressive contraption that vends gumball machines, and it’s biggest attractors are the kids.

The corn maze has always been designed differently, and this year in particular, was very special for the Shryock family.

The corn maze will be shutting down at the end of November; meaning Mid-Missourians must wait till next year to brave this intricate maze."
